Dave Roberts has been writing news and features for national newspapers, magazines and broadcasters for more than 25 years.

He is a regular contributor to leading UK titles including The Daily Telegraph, the Daily Mail, the Daily Express, the Sunday Express, The Sun, The Times, Metro, the Daily Mirror and the Scottish Daily Record.

He covers a wide range of stories from all over the world but concentrates on scientific research, health, human achievement and adventure, and the environment.

Before going freelance, Dave was the chief reporter and news editor at a successful news and photo agency in south Wales. His beat included everything from crime to showbusiness, politics to pets, and 'real life' stories to whacky hobbies and inventions.

He left Wales in 2004 and, after a couple of stints abroad, now works from his new base in Suffolk.
